Founded in 1989, Nirvana established themselves on the Seattle grunge scene. It was the single 'Smells like Teen Spirit 'and the album Nevermind that launched them to a global market. Selling 70 million albums, the band finished with the suicide of Kurt Cobain. Dave Grol switched roles to be the front man of the Foo Fighters.
